Wanted to try and make Strawberry Shortcake Cookies, to see how they taste. They are delicious!! They have a sweet smell and very soft inside. They strawberries still smell delicious and sweet.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Strawberries (Cut/Dice them up)
- 1 tsp Fresh Lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of Sugar
- 2 cups of Flour
- 1/2 tsp of Salt
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 6 tbsp of Cold Butter (Cut into small pieces)
- 2/3 cup Heavy cream
Process:
- Preheat oven to 375° F
- In a separate bowl cut the Strawberries and add the Sugar, and Fresh Lemon juice.
- In a separate large bowl add the flour, Salt, Baking Powder, and Cold Butter. Make sure you mix until the batter looks like crumbs.
- Then add the Heavy Cream and mix it all together with a spoon or your mixer (Your choice)
- You may use a Ice Cream Scoop or Tablespoon and place the dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between.
- Cook for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them Cool Down and enjoy with a glass of Milk! : )
I love Fresh Strawberries! They are so beautiful and have such a bright red color
